K.G.F Chapter 1 story and plot  K.G.F Chapter 1 is an Indian Kannada-language period action film released in 2018. The movie was directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale Films. It stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, and Ramachandra Raju in lead roles. The story of K.G.F Chapter 1 is set in the 1970s in Kolar Gold Fields (K.G.F) in Karnataka, India. The film begins with a voice-over narration describing the K.G.F and how it is ruled by the local mafia boss named Garuda. The protagonist, Rocky (played by Yash), is introduced as a young boy who grows up in the streets of Mumbai and aspires to become the most powerful and feared don in the city.
